This beanie features a fun fair isle snowflake pattern. The pattern was inspired by traditional Norwegian mittens. The word “viti” is an old Finnish word meaning “freshly fallen, powdery snow” (yes, the motif is Norwegian inspired, but my mom’s side of my family is Finnish).

Fit & Warmth:
Fitted: Hat will be slightly fitted on an average adult head (21”-22” head circumference)- fair isle knitting is less forgiving than other styles, if you need a different size, please let me know!
Mid-weight. A perfect weight for winter and spring/fall in cooler climates.

Materials:
Hand-knit with sustainably sourced hand-dyed merino wool
Merino wool is soft and warm without being scratchy.
Merino wool is odor-resistant, moisture-wicking, breathable, and biodegradable.

Care:
Spot clean and air dry for best results
If applicable, remove pom pom prior to washing
May be machine washed in cold water on gentle cycle, lay flat to dry
