0-5 cm / 0-2 inches of positive ease is recommended, meaning you should pick a size that is 0-5cm / 0-2 inches larger than your chest measurement.

25 stitches and 40 rows in stockinette = 10cm/4 inches
Yarn:
The sample in the photos was knit using Malabrigo Ultimate Sock, however any fingering weight yarn that allows you to get the proper gauge will work fine.
Yardage:
700 [765, 855, 925, 1010, 1090, 1170, 1250, 1330] meters 765 [836, 935, 1011, 1105, 1192, 1280, 1367, 1455] yards fingering weight yarn.
