KNITTING PATTERN - Riverbed Mitts

$5.00

The Riverbed Mitt is a fingerless mitt with a mock cable pattern that is perfect for both solid and variegated yarn.

The length of these mitts can be easily adjusted to achieve your desired fit. They are meant to fit with no ease or a small amount of negative ease.

Fingerless mitts are prefect for keeping your hands warm when you need to be able to use your fingers, they are a year-round staple for me in Alaska.

Size: The pattern is for one size, however it is somewhat adaptable to fit your needs. You can easily go up or down one needle size for a larger or smaller fit and the length can be easily customized.

Suggested Yarn: Both the samples featured in the pattern document were knit with Bad Sheep Yarn DK, but any DK weight yarn will do. This is perfect for using up leftovers from other projects. I love adding a contrasting color for the cuffs and ribbing at the top.

Suggested Needles: US 4 (3.5mm) DPNs. You can also easily knit this pattern using magic loop.
